Do Science from Day One

As a ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Biology major, you’ll develop the skills to think critically, conduct research, and solve real-world problems. Our students have published in peer-reviewed journals, presented at international science conferences, and earned nationally competitive scholarships through research collaborations with faculty.

ºÚÁϳԹÏ’s Biology Department faculty offer a broad range of specialties and backgrounds including behavioral ecology, botany, entomology, evolution, genetics, cell and molecular biology, physiology, microbiology, and virology. Whether you plan to pursue graduate school, medical school, or a career in biotechnology, healthcare, or environmental science, you’ll graduate with the experience and confidence to succeed.
