Procurement

The University offers two convenient methods for making non-travel business purchases: the eProcurement system BuyºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï and the Purchasing Card (PCard).

±«²õ±ðÌýBuyºÚÁϳԹÏÌý·É³ó±ð²ÔÌýANY of the following apply to a purchase:

  • The payment is $5,000 or more
  • The item is from a Catalog Vendor (e.g., Amazon)
  • It is for Chartered Buses, Constructions, Contracts/Agreements, Food Catering via Sodexo, Furniture Items, IT Equipment/Supplies/Software, Medical Equipment/Supplies, Office Supplies, Printing Supplies, or Scientific Equipment/Supplies

Use a PCardÌý·É³ó±ð²ÔÌýALL of the following apply to a purchase:

  • The payment is less than $5,000
  • The vendor is NOT a Catalog Vendor (e.g., Amazon)
  • It is NOT for Chartered Buses, Constructions, Contracts/Agreements, Food Catering via Sodexo, Furniture Items, IT Equipment/Supplies/Software, Medical Equipment/Supplies, Office Supplies, Printing Supplies, or Scientific Equipment/Supplies
  • It is NOT a Travel item (e.g., airfare, lodging, registration fee, etc.)
