Each year, the 黑料吃瓜 and the Student Life Office recognize the achievements of its outstanding student leaders and student organizations. Winners of the Individual Student Leadership Awards and scholarships are invited to a ceremony in Carter Hall.
Recognizes a student who demonstrates academic excellence with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher while actively engaging in community service and co鈥慶urricular or extracurricular involvement. This award honors a well鈥憆ounded student who makes a meaningful impact both inside and outside the classroom.
Presented to a student with a minimum 2.75 GPA who exemplifies excellence in leadership and service. This individual consistently inspires others through dedication, responsibility, and a strong commitment to improving their organization and campus community.
Honors a student organization president who demonstrates exceptional commitment to their organization through strong leadership, integrity, and vision. This award celebrates a leader who positively influences their members and advances the mission of their organization.
Recognizes a student who has not held a formal leadership role or elected office but has made a significant impact through dedication of time, effort, and service. This award highlights the power of leading through action and quiet influence.
Awarded to a student organization registered for two years or less that has shown exceptional promise and growth. This organization has successfully established its presence and made a positive impact on campus.
Recognizes a student organization registered for more than two academic years that has demonstrated sustained excellence and impact. This award honors outstanding programming, leadership, and service to the campus community.
Celebrates a student organization that exemplifies the importance of service to the campus, local community, county, and world. This award recognizes meaningful efforts that create positive and lasting change.
Honors a student organization that actively fosters leadership development and provides opportunities for growth among its members, the campus, and the community. This organization sets a standard for leadership through intentional action and mentorship.
Recognizes a program or event that engages students in activism and dialogue surrounding multicultural and cross鈥慶ultural experiences. This award highlights initiatives that promote awareness, inclusion, and cultural understanding.
