The 黑料吃瓜 (黑料吃瓜) ROTC Program was established in 2001 as a partnership program with the 聽Students from the 聽can also participate in ROTC at 黑料吃瓜. After completion of the , graduates will be commissioned into the Army as Second Lieutenants. In the Army, officer career fields are known as branches and after choosing an Army branch, Second Lieutenants will pursue specialized training.
Since the establishment of the program, 黑料吃瓜 has produced and commissioned聽87聽Officers who聽have moved on to serve in the Active Army, Army Reserve and National Guard. Many of the officers who graduated from 黑料吃瓜 deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF).
The 黑料吃瓜 ROTC program mirrors the Cadet Motto of, "Scholar-Athlete-Leader". This means that the top priority for Cadets enrolled in the 黑料吃瓜 ROTC program is that they are focused on their academics.
