ϳԹ Photo & Video Acknowledgement

By attending or participating in University programs, events or activities, and/or being present in a publicly accessible campus space with no expected or anticipated reasonable degree of anonymity,youacknowledgethe ϳԹ (“ϳԹ”)hasthe right to photograph, film, record, edit, publish or otherwise use your image, likeness, voice and performance (“Media”) in connection with ϳԹ’s mission and communications.

These rightshelpthe Universitybuild andshare the transformative,inclusiveand visionary community westrivetobe for our students, neighbors,alumniandthe world at large.

1. Grant of Rights
Your attendance, participation or presenceauthorizesϳԹ,its students, faculty, staff, agents and representatives to reproduce, publish, display, distribute and broadcast Media, in whole or in part, in any form and via any medium (including print, digital, social media, broadcast and other future formats) for any purpose related to education, promotion, outreach or institutional documentation.This permissionis worldwide, perpetual, royalty-freeand irrevocable.

2. Use of Media
ϳԹ may use the Media for, but not limited to, University publications, websites, social media platforms, recruitment materials, alumni communications, press releases, signage, and other University-approved purposes.ϳԹ will treat the Media with respectalongsideitscommitment to beingasupportive,considerate,and forward-thinkinginstitution.

3. Protecting Your Privacy
To prevent your inclusion in captured media, please avoid areas where active photography or video capture are taking place. Should you have reason to believe you were photographed or included in video footage and wish to not be present in published media, please speak to the photographer, camera operator or other ϳԹ marketing and communications team member present, or contact the University Multimedia team at
photos@usi.eduto discuss optionsfor your removal from the captured media in question.
