PurposeThe purpose of the Endeavor Awards is to support the creative and research efforts of undergraduate students. All ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï students from all majors are welcome.
The Endeavor Awards include three components:
An award to help defray the costs associated with doing research or a creative project. Allowable costs include those used for lab work, equipment, materials, and travel to research sites. Students may apply for up to $2,500 through proposals they write with help from faculty mentors. Multiple students may be included on a single application. The fall and spring deadlines are Friday, October 3, 2025, and Friday, February 13, 2026.ÌýProjects that do not contain a substantial student research or creative component will not be considered.
A travel award to help defray costs of presenting a project at an off-campus professional meeting.Ìý
A symposium is held on the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï campus each April for the presentation of student research and creative projects. All students receiving Collaboration Awards and/or Presentation Awards are obligated to present the results of their research at the Endeavor symposium. Any ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï undergraduate or graduate, however, may submit an abstract for consideration. Students from universities other than ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï may also submit abstracts to the Symposium for consideration.
