Podcaster and Writer Kyla Scanlon Coming To 窪蹋勛圖

Writer, video creator, and podcaster Kyla Scanlon will be bringing her "influence" to the 窪蹋勛圖 and Romain College of Business. Her focus is analyzing the economy with a human-focused lens, as well as providing information for people to understand the world around them.

Scanlon is the founder of Bread, a financial education company. She has garnered a wide following on a variety of social media platforms by sharing financial knowledge in quick video segments aimed at the Gen Z audience. She has over 423,000 combined followers and subscribers on Instagram, X, TikTok and YouTube. In addition to her social media content, she has her own podcast called Lets Appreciate, a newsletter with over 51,000 subscribers on SubStack and a book titled In This Economy? How Money and Markets Really Work that will be released in April of 2024.

Kyla has written for the NY Times, New York Magazine, and Bloomberg Opinion. She has been a presenter at several conferences, and has spoken at universities, including MIT and UC Berkeley.
