Undergraduate Admission Process and Requirements

To get started, submit your application for admission to the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï by completing our online application. There is a $40 application fee.Ìý

Request a transcript from your school counselor to be sent to ºÚÁϳԹÏ. If you choose to submit your ACT/SAT test scores, make sureÌý your scores are included on your transcript or you have the scores sent from the testing agency.

Once ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï has processed your application, transcript(s) and scores (if needed), a decision will be made by Undergraduate Admissions and you will receive a notification.Ìý

Upon acceptance to ºÚÁϳԹÏ, you'll receive detailed information about next steps, including orientation, registration and housing.Ìý

Admission Evaluation

Each freshman applicant is reviewed on an individual basis and is evaluated on the following areas from his/her high school transcript:Ìý

• four years of English
• three to four years of laboratory science
• three years of social studies
• three to four years of mathematics.
• IfÌýgraduating from an Indiana accredited high school, ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï prefers students complete Core 40 requirements.Ìý
• cumulative GPA with a preference for a minimum of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

Standardized Test Scores

ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï allows students to decide whether or not to provide standardized test scores as part of their application. If students choose to submit SAT or ACT scores, we will super score and take the best score from each section for a final score. Learn more about ºÚÁϳԹÏ’s test optional admission.

Undergraduate Admissions also considers extra-curricular involvement and recommendations from counselors. Upon acceptance to ºÚÁϳԹÏ, you will receive detailed information about orientation, registration, and housing.Ìý

Note:ÌýDuring heavy application times, it takes approximately 2-3 weeks to process an application and make an admission decision, once all materials have been received. If you have submitted an application more than three weeks ago and have not received a letter,Ìýcheck on the statusÌýof your application.

Obtaining credit for prior educational experiences

Transcripts recording any course work completed while in high school that could be considered for college credit should be submitted with the Application for Undergraduate Admission. All work will be evaluated for possible credit according to ºÚÁϳԹÏ'sÌýPrior Learning Assessment policyÌýandÌýTransfer Credit Policy.

High School Equivalency Exam Admission

Any individual between the ages of 18 and 22 years of age who is not a high school graduate may be admitted by passing a high school equivalency exam (GED, HiSET, TASC, etc.) and an acceptable SAT or ACT score. Individuals age 22+ who have passed a high school equivalency exam may be admitted without providing SAT/ACT scores.
