World Languages and Cultures Minor Overview

A minor in world languages and cultures provides you with language proficiency and cultural skills for professional and academic careers. As a student seeking this minor, you will take 18 credit hours in a single language, either French, German, or Spanish. Foreign language courses at ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï are taught by highly qualified Ph.D. faculty. In addition, you can practice your oral skills in the Miller Language Laboratory, staffed by native/near-native language tutors. ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï offers international language events, guest speakers, language clubs and honor societies. ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï students have received national scholarships to study in foreign countries. The world languages and cultures minor combines with any major, such as international studies, art, the sciences and business.
