At ºÚÁϳԹÏ, you will learn the skills necessary to become an effective teacher of English. The English teaching major is for students who wish to teach in secondary schools (grades 6-12). At ºÚÁϳԹÏ, you will have the opportunity to work in an NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English) accredited program with faculty trained and experienced in education. Other advantages include extensive content-based knowledge, relevant workshops, and professionalization training, including teaching demos and interviews. Small class sizes, with under 25 students, cater to individuals who seek one-on-one interactions with faculty and mentors. The program is also nationally accredited by CAEP (Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation).
