ºÚÁϳԹÏ’s photography program trains you in the art and science of image creation, while exposing you to historical and contemporary trends in artistic, commercial, and documentary photography. ºÚÁϳԹÏ’s photography program will give you an academically rich foundation of art theory and art history. Working in our state-of-the art labs and studios, students can explore and understand different photographic techniques and concepts while developing their own individual artistic style.Â

The real-world experience of internships and working with faculty who are professional photographers allows you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the photography world prior to graduation. Students can practice your skills in on-campus jobs, making photographs for the University Photography and Multimedia, Creative and Print Services, the Shield newspaper, the University Archives and Special Collections and special projects with individual faculty and sports teams. International travel opportunities and visiting artists, designers, and scholars allow you to step outside of the classroom for impactful learning opportunities.Â
